Construction is finally coming to completion downtown. We have completed streets, new library, nice lighting and central park is preparing for a lighted Christmas decorated downtown.

Memorial day is to be celebrated this week-end. A time to remember and give thanks to all that paved the way to this existence as we know it today. Mother's day was wonderful. I was lucky to spend the day with family and friends. It doesn't get any better than that - Even Bonnie took time out to "smell the flowers"!

Tulips - the squirrels seem to love them. This head was cut off and left to die. Not eaten, just left. So as a good flower saver I put it in a cup of water to enjoy in the house. It created an opportunity to "get close".
